EU policy for Botkyrka
EU COUNCIL IN BOTKYRKA MUNICIPALITY Goal The growth of the municipality´s administrations has every chance of being successful with increased international competence, knowledge and exchange of experience. New prospects as to enterprise and international marketing will develop. An EU Council with representatives from municipal administrations and industry will see that the EU policy of the municipality is applied. The EU Council Is among other things a network to exchange experience, to discuss possible EU educational efforts, to establish connections and convey EU information regarding the external and internal work of the municipality. Assists in developing a common strategy as to EU work in Botkyrka municipality. Gives advice when planning new projects. Recognises the complex of problems and the needs that characterise every department and industry. Functions according to the principal of "TEAMWORK". Competence among members varies. Essential is that there is a will. Is committed to lay down guiding principles for the main efforts within a yearly programme. Is responsible under the EU Co-ordinator. |
