Assignments are carried out on a commission basis from ASK according to the EU policy the board has adopted. The EU Co-ordinator is responsible for the EU policy intended to be carried out. The EU Co-ordinator shall: Be responsible for the co-ordination of EU questions within the municipality. Organise education and contribute information regarding EU questions and the conditions for the financing of projects via EU´s structure funding and other forms of contributions. Information is given in the first place to the municipality´s various administrations but even to private firms, organisations and societies in Botkyrka municipality. Cover programmes, start and stimulate projects and other iniatives within the EU. Assist with guidance to those applying for project resources from EU. Form an "EU Councel", with representatives from the municipal administrations and industry, which will actively work for the application of the EU´s policy. In a yearly project plan outline the principal tasks for the year. Contribute to the construction of a network in Sweden and internationally. By doing so international networks can be made use of and twin town connections intensified. |
